MR. A. E. JULL, WAIPAWA LONG INTEREST IN POLITICS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] HASTINGS', Tuesday The death occurred suddenly at Waipawa to-night of Mr. Albert Edward Jull, M.P. for Waipawa, aged 76. ■//
v Mr. Jull was elected for Waipawa in 1938. He was one of the National Party members defeated at the 1935 election. He was originally elected for the constituency in 1930 after the death of Sir George Hunter and served in the House of Representatives for one year in the United Party's interests, before being re-elected in 1931 as a Coalition Government member. Mr. Hull's interest in politics dated back many years. He had a long term as chairman of the Napier Harbour Board and while a member for the district he was included in a number of important Parliamentary investigation committees.
