TWO PERSONS SCALDED
Two persons were admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday for the treatment of scalds caused by boiling water. Miss Hilda Brown, a kitchenmaid, aged 32, was extensively burned whon she spilt boiling water on herself in the kitchen of a city restaurant at lunch time. Annie Esther Machin, a schoolgirl, aged 14, daughter of Mr. F. Machin, of Waiau Pa, suffered burns to' the chest and forearm in a similar mishap at her home. Neither was in a serious condition last night.
