MILK COUNCIL VACANCY
A by-election for the position of vendors' representative on the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council to fill the vacancy caused by tho death of Mr. J. Ilaslam will bo held to-day, vendors in tho council's district being eligible to voto. Two nominations, those of Mr Hrncst Frank Andrews, of Pal moral, and iVlr. Arthur Thompson, of Morningside, have been received. Voting will he by postal ballot, and voting papers must bo received by G p.m.
