NEW ZEALAND'S GROWLS
Sir, —May I ask "A Farmer's Wife" if, in her letter in Saturday's issue she meant to blame the former Government for the poverty of the depression years. And to ask her if she knows how the "boom" in trade after the Labour Government canio into power was brought about?
Also, on what process, of reasoning and foundation in fact she bases her statement that the Labour Government lifted that poverty and gave the people "a taste of comfort." Seeing reality, there is the utmost need for New Zealand as a whole to wake up and think, and may it bo iu time. Facts Please.
