NEW INFIRMARY BLOCK
APPROVAL OF PLANS Plans and specifications of the new ward block to bo constructed at the Auckland Infirmary, which were submitted by the acting-architect, Mr. R. L. Fnrrell, were approved by the Auckland Hospital Board at a meeting last night. The plans provide for a building containing 264 beds, and the estimated cost is £357,500. The board appointed Mr. L. Mandeno consulting electrical engineer for the electrical installation of the block, with the exception of the lifts, but including the wiring for the lifts.
