SOLDIERS' CAKES
CAMBRIDGE PAfRIOTIC WORK The task of mixing 1001b. of cake for the soldiers' Christmas parcels was carried out by 25 members of the Cambridge Patriotic Committee under the convenership of Sirs. H. Bear, at the Cambridge Town Hall recently. The materials for the cakes were purchased in Cambridge from patriotic funds. After the tins had been filled the cakes were cooked in the bakeiy of Horscroft, Limited,* and will later be forwarded to the Waikato zone committee at Hamilton.
