DEATH OF BABY BOY
SUFFOCATION IN COT [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HASTINGS, Thursday The discovery of their son dead in his cot was made by Mr. and Mrs. D. Rae, of Hastings, at 7.30 o'clock this morning. When attended to at midnight the child was all right. It appeared that the little boy had suffocated. He was sleeping in a room adjoining the parents' bedroom, and, although the door between the two rooms was open, no sound was heard to indicate all was not well. An inquest will be held.
