RISING PRODUCTION COSTS
Sir, —Many interesting letters have appeared in your columns regarding increased costs, but few give real instances of such. T buy one article essential for production, and last year it cost me £6 18s a ton. This last Juno I had to pay £l4 10s Jor the same amount. This is just one item to show what the farmer has to pay, apart from increased taxation and rising costs' _ in living. Are we not entitled to sufllcient pay-out to keep up production? Faui Play.
