Tho Dominion Gun Dog Championship Trials wero held to-day in ideal weather. There were 21 entries in tho North and South Islands' Championship. Results of the first seciion (land trial) were:—T. Pasco's Cowanlea Major and M. Pasco's Zeda. SO points, equal, lj W. E. Hazlett's King, 87. 3; P. Hennessey's Three Star, 5.5. 4; S. Lindsay's Lock, 8.4, 5. In the run-off Cowanlea Major won the trophy.
