BRANCH CONGRATULATED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday Congratulations were extended to the Hamilton branch of the Plunket Society by the Mayor, Mr. H. D. Caro, on the sound financial position of the branch and the excellent work it was doing for the children of the town, at the annual meeting to-day.

The president, Mrs. N. E. Bloinfield, said the work was steadily increasing, but there was still a good deal to be done, particularly with respect to children between the ages of two and five. The speaker appealed to mothers to bring children of preschool age along to the clinic at least once a month.
