THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE RESTRICTED BUSINESS Trnding was dull on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, a large proportion of the business being in the gilt-edged section. A few more sellers of Government loans came forward. Banks showed small and irregular price movements. Inquiry for several insurance issues was stronger. Buyers for New Zealand. Breweries slackened. Dealing in. the miscellaneous group was light. Holders advanced their limits following: the recent upward trend in offers. The buying tone, however, was irregular and weaker.

DIRECTORS RE-ELECTED [FRO.M OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE KUITI, Thursday The chairman of directors of the Piopio Co-operative Dairy Company, Mr. J. JO. Trust, has been re-elected. The directorate will be the samo as before, the retiring directors, Messrs. H. K. Brickland, JD. Anderson and J. E. Mortensen, being re-elected unopposed. Mr. W. B. Young, formerly manager of the' Raglan Dairy Company, has been appointed factory manager in succession to Mr. J. A. Singleton, who has joined the Dairy Division, with headquarters in Hamilton.
