FRESH PINEAPPLES
FIRSf SINCE FEBRUARY For the first time since .the Government temporarily suspended the importation of fresh pineapples last February, supplies have reached the Auckland market. Small quantities of Queensland pineapples wero sold at the city markets this week, bringing high prices. The fruit, which is of good quality, sold at rates ranging from 30s to 35s a case, which contains from 18 to 25 pineapples, according to size. The retail price is about 2s 6d to 3s 6d each, compared with'ls 6d and 2s for similar fruit at Christmas. \
