Mrs. S. S. Wilson, Orakei Road, Remuera, returned this week from a visit to Masterton. Mrs. Allan J. Moody, Mount St. John Avenue, Epsom, and her daughter, Mrs. T. Thain, will return this evening from a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. H. A. W. Gray, of Hanmer Springs, arrived in Auckland yesterday and is the guest of Mrs. A, Dibble, Sentinel Road, Heme Bay. .Mrs. Edgar Randal, Campbell Road, Onehunga, is visiting Lower Hutt, Wellington, and is expected to return to Auckland next Wednesday. . Mrs. C. E. Winspear (Wellington), Mrs. Blake (Christchurch), Miss G. Ripley, Miss I. Baillie and Miss J. Nathan (London) are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. G. Thomas, Mrs. Frank D. Springer and Miss B. Minnicr (Los Angeles), Mrs. Curtis J. Kimbal (California) and Mrs. E. Elston (Dunedin) are at the Grand Hotel. A shipment of goods weighing two and a-half tons comprised the first consignment from the Takapuna branch of the Lady Gahvay Patriotic Guild. The clothing, which has been collected and prepared by members of the branch, has been sent for shipment to refugees overseas.
