WOMEN'S AUXILIARY
HAMILTON CORPS FORMED [FROM OUR OWN (OKRKSPONDKNTJ HAMILTON, Thursday A women's auxiliary corps, organised to assist in any way required in connection with the war effort, has been organised in Hamilton and has commenced training. Over 250 women have enroljed in the corps, and they parade every Monday evening in the Alexandra Hall for drill. The members have undertaken to do clerical work for the Army Department, to service the Hamilton Soldiers' Club, and to assist patriotic efforts. They have been formed into a company and are instructed in drill by Sergeant W. Hepditch and in physical training by Miss R. Stephenson, physical welfare officer. It is proposed to equip the girls with a simple uniform.
