BUSINESS FIRMS' HELP Tho suggestion that business firms could help with the salvaging of waste if thev kept likely materials separate before deliveries are taken has been made to tho National Council for tho Reclamation of Waste Materials by tho Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Tho chamber pointed out that such procedure would assist materially both from tho aspect' of sanitation and cost of salvage.-In its. reply, the council expresses agreement with the necessity for ensuring separation of materials as far as possible. Tho Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, is arranging a conference between representatives of the national council and the standing committee of the Auckland Provincial Patriotic Council to further the movement. Tho clianibor will bo represented.
