SHORT WEIGHT OF COAL
[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday For breaches of the Weights and Measures Regulations, Frankton Supply Stores were fined £1 by Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court to-day. It was stated that several bags of coal being delivered by the company were short-weighted. The company said that a now man had been engaged in filling the bags and the breaches were caused by the human element.
