DEATH DURING OPERATION [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH, Thursday During, an operation necessitated, by the breaking of his arm when he fell from a step-ladder at the Grey Hospital this afternoon, Mr. Arthur Joseph Fraser died to-night. Mr. Fraser, who was house manager at the hospital for the past 10 years, was aged 52. He had just completed arrangements for the equipment of the new Saltzmann tuberculosis annexe, which is to be opened at the Grey Hospital on Monday by the Minister of Health, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong.
