LAWYER RETIRES
TRIBUTES BY STAFF MR. C. J. TUNKS* LONG CAREER On the occasion of his retirement from more active practice, Mr. C. J. Tunks, M.8.E., was tendered a farewell reception by present and past members of the staff of. .his. law .firm, Messrs. Jackson, Rilssell, Tunks and West. Mr.
Tunks' health in recent months necessitated his giving up a good deal of legal work, and, after 51 i years' association with the firm, he found he could no longer devote so much time to office work. A large number of past and present employees attended tne function. A presentation was made to Mr. Tunks to mark the occasion, and appreciative references' were made to his career aa a citizen and in his profession.
