UNIVERSITY AWARDS
APPROVAL. BY COUNCIL The following scholarships and diplomas were approved at yesterday's meeting of the .Auckland University College Council:— Chamber of Commerce Scholarship.— Mr. B. H. Smith. Associate of the Auckland University College in Civil Engineering.—Mr. D. Chitty and Mr. E. Gilmour. ' The council resolved to recommend that the education committee be invited to consider increased emoluments or a further scholarship award from the Lissie Rathbone Scholarship Fund, and that bursaries of free fees be granted to members of the college staff and their children. r ;
