WILL MAHONEY REVUE

ATTRACTIVE PROGRAMME The topical note struck was a factor I in the success of the change of programme at His Majesty's Theatre last night when the popular comedian, Will Mahonoy, and his company of talented overseas artists continued their season. First of the topical items was the presentation of "There'll Always be an England." sung by Margaret Kelly with the Will Mahonoy ballet providing a background. This drew much applause. Later, Evie Hayes, talented Californian singer, presented "It's Up to You and Me." Miss M. Hutchison, queen of the air in the carnival for the sick and wounded fund, appoared during the evening. Attractive settings, the charming frocking of the ballet and the originality of the numbers wore among the features. The highlights wero provided by the appearance of Will Mahonoy, who never failed to draw laughter and applause. The accomplishments of tlio Four Florays in feats of acrobatics wero little short of amazing. An animal act which featured a dog and a cockatoo was another clever item. Sleight of hand with a good leavening of comedy characterised the act of the Lampinis, while two girls known as the Melodians played a bracket of musical works. The performance will be repeated to-night.,
