THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE FURTHER GENERAL WEAKNESS Sharcwnlncs reopened at lower levels 011 the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, and a. progressive decline continued throughout tlie day. Odors for Government loans continued to fall. Banks were easier, with New Zealands being marked down. Insurances over a wide range lost ground, while other classified issues were affected equally. Australian industrials were quiet, but values were much lower than ••it the close of last week. This was continued by a sale of Colonial Sugars. The property has a frontage to tho avenue of 66ft. and a depth of 165 ft. It is understood the price paid was £20,000. Woolwortlis propose erecting a modern building on the site.
