JUNIOR MANAGEMENT The value which adequate control of the junior grades dnrins the coming year would have on the future of the game was stressed by Mr. F. G. Fnllbrook. who occupied the chait at the annua! meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Football Association. It was decided that rlayers below third intermediate erade would be eligible to play in grades higher than that in which they were registered, and yet return to their original grade without being regr-ided. A tribute to the efficient work of the sec-retary-treasurer. Mr. L. J. Check, was paid by several speakers in referring to the satisfactory nature of the report and balance•beet. which showed the committee to have nad a credit balance over the year's workings. In spite of a big expenditure in sending schoolboys' teams to the Rotorna tourney. A motion" of sympathy in the loss of his mother was carried to Mr. D. Steel, a valued worker in the code, the members standing in silence. , , ~ The election of officers resulted a? follows: —President, the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis; vice-presidents. 23 were elected; honorary auditor.
