CHOLERA EPIDEMIC
DEATHS AT CALCUTTA CALCUTTA. March 31 Ten deaths from cholera are reported as a result of a strike by scavengers. Disregarding religious laws which forbid high caste people' to defile themselves by sweeping up refuse, the citizens are organising a cleansing service, but it is feared that it will bo inadequate to check the epidemic.
