WIDOW KILLED

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR RESIDENT OF BALMORAL ACCIDENT CROSSING ROAD Struck by a motor-car ivhen she vrss crossing Dominion Road, near the intersection of Brixton Road, shortly after seven o'clock last night an elderly woman was killed. The victim was: — Mrs. Emma Dexter, a widow, of 4 Dexter Avenue, Balmoral. She suffered extensive head injuries. The accident was witnessed by Mrs. Dexter's sister, Mrs. E. Naden, who had crossed the road before her. A St. John ambulance and Dr. J. Dreadon attended the accident. Mrs. Dexter had lived in Balmoral for many years. Dexter Avenue was named after her husband, who owned the property it went through. An inquest will be opened to-day.
