(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations) Text. —If any man will come aft?r Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. Matt., I°> 5!4. Verse. — Jesus, I my cross have taken, All to leave and follo«v Thee. Destitute, disguised, forsaken, Thou from hence my all shall be. Prayer.—o Saviour Christ, we come lio Thee, longing to follow Thee, hut there are so many difficulties and we are so weak and sinful. Help ns to abandon our selfishness and greed, ana willingly, deliberately to face life's hard duty, in talcing up our cross and following Thee. For Jesus' sake. Amen-
