WEDDING AT OTAHUHU
McDELL—SLY The marriage was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, on March 23, of Miss Patricia Nita Sly, only daughter of the late Mr. E. A. H. Sly, of H.M.B. Consular Service, Cliina, and Mrs. L. o'llara Hickson, Howick, and Mr. Roy Morrin McDell, only son of Mr. George McDell and the late Mrs. McDell, of Otahuhu. The ceremony was performed by the Rev, JR. J. Stanton. The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Mr. L. O'Hara Hickson, wore a model frock of dusty rose romaine, prettily smocked at shoulders and waist, and ruched on the sleeves, bodice and waist. A pastel tinted posy was worn at the shoulder. Sue wore a wide-brimmed felt hat to match, and brown accessories. She was attended by Miss Marjorie Greer, who wore ceil blue and wine accessories. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bridegroom's father. The guests were received bv the bride's mother, Mrs. h. O'Hara Hickson, assisted by Mr b. McDell Mrs. Hickson woro a black frock relieved with white, and a. shoulder spray of pastel pink and mauve.
