FROCKS ON THE LAWN MANY LIGHT-WEIGHT SUITS ACCESSORIES .GIVE COLOUR The wentlior for the opening day of the Avondnle Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting yesterday was ideal and attracted a large number of racing enthusiasts to the course. Light-weight autumn suits and a variety ol smart styles in hats were seen. The tailored suit in plain or pin-striped flannels and worsted worn with furs vied with longsleeved frocks in Angora wool, while printed floral frocks under plain fitted coats also had many adherents. As usual, black, navy blue and grey were widely worn, with the new mulberry and fuchsia tonings and the many shades of green also looking very attractive.
