READJUSTMENT FROM 1935 APPLICATIONS CLOSE TO-DAY I a [llY TKI.KGIIAI'H —I'UKSS, association] WELLINGTON, Sunday Any taxpayers who have created stock' reserves which, in accordance with the provisions of the ]939 amendment, of the Land and Income Tax Act, have now to he disclosed may obtain a reopening of their assessments hack to 19:55 so that the reserves can he brought in from that year onward. ]n order to obtain this advantage taxpayers must telegraph, their applications for reopening to the Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, on April j 1, following np by letter, as the Com- | missioner has no power to deal with applications received niter April 1.
