PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL
The weekly old-time carnival dance at the Pirate Ship Cabaret at Milford attracted a large number of people on Saturday night, when many city visitors were among those present. Special airconditioning apparatus kept both decks cool for dancing. Items by the cabaret orchestra of six instruments included many of the latest song successes from oversea as well as many familiar airs. The distribution of streamers and balloons, and the inclusion of the Monio Carlo wait/,, the Palais Glide, and tho Lambeth Walk' added considerably to the enjoyment of the programme.
