GEANDOEA BEILLIANT FINE EFFORT BY FULL HAND PROUD FOX BEATS TE KAWITI A brilliant six Furlongs by the two-year-old Grant lorn was a feature of the training at Takauiui on Saturday, when the inside grass ' provided excellent ;j;oiiig lor the final gallops for the Avondale meeting. Proud Fox's decisive defeat of Te Kawiti gained him further admirers for the Foley Memorial Handicap, and others to please were Full Hand, Orelio, Air Port, Paiustre and Bachelor King. Queen City (Clark), who sprinted four furlongs, Jack Tnr (Mellroy), who was allotted a solid round at three-quarter pace.
