PRESENTATION TO BOWLER
Before play commenced at tho Remucra Bowling Club's greens on Saturday, Mr. L. Ratlibone, in (lie absence of the president, Mr. C. Kissling, presented Mr. G. A. Keys with a wristlet watch in members' appreciation of his untiring and valuable work as chairman of tlu> match committee in recent years. Mr. Hickson, who skipped the successful first-year Remucra team in tho Easter tournament, presented Mr.'Keys with a cigarette lighter to mark that team's gratitude for his special assistance to them. Mr. Keys, who earned wido praiso for his orgatiising ability in connection with various tournaments and inter-club contests during the period of his office, has enlisled in the New Zealand Defence Forces.
