NO HALF POUND PATS NOTICE TO STOREKEEPERS CONSERVING PARCHMENT The announcement that only one grade of butter, parked in one pound pats, will be available to the public from Monday onwards is made in a circular that has been issued by the Auckland Butter "Distributors' Association to storekeepers. The distributors have been advised that this action is necessary in order to conserve supplies of parchment. "The Internal Marketing Division." states the circular, "lias instructed us to notify all customers of the six licensed distributors of butter in Auckland that as from Monday, April 1, Jib. pats can no longer be supplied. This, in conjunction with the recent elimination of second grade butter in pound pats, will mean that only one grade of butter packed in one pound pats will he available."
