CRICKET SEASON
SENIOR PREMIERSHIP FINAL SERIES OF MATCHES ATTRACTIONS AT EDEN PARK Tlif Auckland Cricket Association's final series of senior championship matches will he commenced at Kden Park this afternoon. Savage, two minutes' silence will he observed in all matches under the control of the Auckland and City and Suburban Associations at -'l p.m. The leading loam, Midrllomorc, will meet Parnell on No. I wicket at Kden Park, Middlemore is at present leading the competition by four points from Grafton, and should have the advantage over J'arnell. An evenly-fought match should he witnessed on No. 2 wicket between Grafton and Kden, while the third game, on No. ,*i wicket, will he between Y.M.C.A. and Ponsonby-IJalmoral. North Shore will play University at IX-vonport.
SUBURBAN COMPETITION THREE TEAMS IN THE LEAD With the competition in an interesting stage, and'lhrcc teams equal for first position, the matches in the second round of the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association's senior grade championship should be keenly contested. At the Domain this afternoon Green Lane, alb out for continues its match with Manukau, seven wickets down for ')7 Brixton, meets R.V.. four wickets for 110. and Hoskill, l">o, play Dilworth Old Boys, four for -in.
