GEMS FOR RED CROSS
Someone has given the British Red Cross in London a £30,000 diamond necklace. The do not quite know what to do about it. It might .be raffled. This would bs legal, as the silver and enamel Florentine setting of the necklace entitles » to be regarded as a work of art. Jou religious-minded supporters of the Kea Cross might object—so the raffle pro ably won't be held. Another idea is to sell it w Indian prince.
