(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations.) Text. —Pest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. Ps.. xxxvii: 7. Verse. — Lord! Who Thy thousand years dost wait To work the thousandth part Or Thy vast plan, for us create With zeal a patient heart. Praver. —0 Lord, Thou hast made us for Thyself, and our hearts are restless till they rest in Thee. Teach us we cannot find rest in places and circumstances. but only in a Person and in character. Help us to rest in Tn.v word and power, Thy presence and love. Save us from all pride and peevishness and sin. Give us strength to resist, patience to endure and constancy to persevere. For His sake. Amen.
