MINING SHARES IN LONDON (.Received March 8, 5.r>6 p.m.) LONDON, March 7 Quotations for New Zealand mining shares are:—Clutha, buyers, 7}d; sellers, 10Jd; Molyneux, ljd and 4£d. NATIONAL MORTGAGE CO. LONDON, March 7 After contributing £4809 to the staff superannuation provident fund, the net profit of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, earned a net profit of £32,614 in the year ended September 30. After payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, requiring £17,078, the sum of £15,535 is carried forward, against £15,878 brought in. learnings show a marked recovery on the profit of £17,284 in the previous year, and £25,882 in 1937. The dividend rate is unchanged.
