!4USTEILIAN ISSUE SUM OF £18,000,000 CHOICE OF TERM OFFERED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received February 27, 12.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 26 The Commonwealth Government will launch its first war loan this week. The terms will be announced officially to-morrow. It is understood the Government will seek to raise £18,000,000. The loan will be offered at par under two sets of conditions. Investors will be permitted to choose a term of currency which will carry an interest rate of £3 12s 6d per cent or a shorter term at a lower rate.
