TEAMS LAST FRIDAY NEARLY 300,000 PASSENGERS FREEDOM FROM ACCIDENTS Record revenue for one day's operation was obtained by the Auckland Transport Board last Friday, when officers and men of H.M.S. Achilles were welcomed back to the city. Passengers totalled nearly 300,000 and paid fares amounting to £3019, about £7 higher than the previous record receipts, obtained on the Friday prior to last Christmas Eve.
