Mrs. David Cowie, of Remuera, is spending a holiday in Christchurch and is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Dudley, of Salisbury Court.

Mrs. Arthur Almond, of Whangarei. arrived in Auckland from Wellington by air on Saturday and will spend a few days here before returning north.

Miss Margaret Morrow, St, Leonard's Road, Mount Eden, will leave Auckland on Thursday for Dunedin to take up her appointment as sports mistress at Columba College.

Mrs. Harvey Turner and Mrs. W. C. Utting, provincial president and secretary respectively of the Auckland League of Mothers, have returned from a visit to the northern branches. Broadwood and Rawene branches were visited and on the return journey a call was made at Whangarei.
