COLLIERIES DISPUTE
TROUBLE IN AUSTRALIA CLIMAX BROUGHT NEARER ; STRIKE ACCENTUATES CRISIS , SYDNEY, Feb. e'g The dispute between the colliery owners and miners is considered by the men to have been brought nearer to a climax by a strike at the Broken Hill Proprietary Company's Johnr Darling colliery. The same company's Burwood colliery has been idle for a fortnight- The 1300 mine employees now idle will have t be maintained by the unions.
