INTOXICATED DRIVERS
TWO BROTHERS FINED £25 [from our own correspondent] WHANGaREI. Friday Pleading guilty to charges of being intoxicated while in charge of a motorcar, two brothers, John and William Pole, of Kaikohe, were each fined £25 and their drivers' licences were cancolled for three years, when they appeared in the Kaikone Police Court before Messrs. J. J. Bedggood and N. A. Ellery, J.P.'s. Constable D. Robertson said that John Polo, who owned the car, had handed over the wheel to his brother and, while passing through Kaikohe, a parked car had been hit.
