ROTORUA POPULAR
HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS [by telegraph —OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTORUA. Friday The influx of visitors to Rotorua during the past few days has been steadily maintained and accommodation is now at a premium. At the borough motor camp the number of cars has passed the GOO mark and it is expected that upward of 1000 will be parked in the enclosures before the week-end. Although the nights have been rather cooler than usual at this time of the year, the weather has remained fine, and a return to-day to very warm conditions saw many visitors at the various sightseeing places. A large bonfire and fireworks display at the lake front last evening attracted a largo crowd and provided popular entertainment for the children, while later the annual ctsrnival ball was well patronised. The climax of the week's festivities will take place to-morrow, when there will be a procession of decorated floats and motorcars both in the afternoon and at night, while with the late shopping night changed from Friday to Saturday the town should be very gay.
