CONVICTION OF MOTORIST [nv TELEGRAPH —-OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE AROHA, Thursday A sequel to an accident at Waitoa on October 22, when the racehorse Longspan was injured to such an extent that it had to be destroyed, was heard in the To Aroha Police Court before Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M., to-day, when Donald Warren McKcnsde was convicted on a charge of negligent driving. Defendant was ordered to pav costs. It was stated in Court that a damages claim would probably be made by the owner, who valued the horse at £750.
