WEEK-END ATTRACTIONS
CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIPS With the weather becoming more like that of summer, the season's sporting activities will bo carried on to a greater extent during the week-end. Bpwling, tennis, rowing, yachting and amateur athletic clubs already have opened for the season, and further ceremonies will be held to-day. , The Auckland Cricket Association commenced its championship competitions last week-end, and the first series of panics will be concluded this afternoon. The Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association will commence its championships at the Domain today.
