ABANDONED GOLD
DISCOVERY IN FRANCE PARIS, Oct. 20 Workmen who were demolishing a bridge at Pontremy, in the Somme district, found a cask containing English gold coins bearing an efligy of Edward 111. It is believed that they were abandoned at the Battle of Crecv.
