VISIT OF AUSTRALIANS EXHIBITIONS NEXT MONDAY The successful Australian Davis ' Cup players will play exhibition matches in Auckland next Monday. The team will bring with them the Davis Cup, which will be on view at Stanley Street - courts on Monday afternoon under an'armed guard. This is ' a condition attaching to the cup being displayed in a public place. The members of tho team 'who will play exhibition matches are J. E. Bromwich, A.' K. Quist, J. H. Crawford ! and H. Hopman. Sir Norman and Lady ■Brookes will be accompanying the team. The matches arranged by the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association are:—Singles: Quist v. Bromwich, commencing at 1 pjn., followed by Crawford and Hopman. Doubles: Quist and Bromwich v. Crawford'and Hopman, 4 p.m. „ . Tho Quist-Bromwich match should be particularly interesting, as it is reported that Quist has been showing . superior form to Bromwich in recent games. Spectacular play should be witnessed in "the doubles contest? as ft is generally regarded that Quist and Bromwich are the leading doubles players in the world at the present time.
