SCHOOL STEEPLECHASE
TECHNICAL COLLEGE EVENT FASTEST TIME TO B. BALLARD Approximately 750 boys took part in the annual steeplechase of the Seddon Memorial Technical College held yesterday in fine weather. The race started and finished at the Domain. The fastest competitor in the senior division was B. Ballard, his time for the distance of approximately 3V* miles being •20m. 50s. The handicap event was won by J D. McKenna, off.2m. 30s. In the intermediate division, the championship was won .by R. Hendry, in 20m. 50s, while the junior championship resulted in a win for H. Long, his time being 21m. 375.
