KILLING PRIVATE ENTERPRISE

Sir, - —It seems incredible that we have a Government using the war to bring about socialism. To tell the carriers to form companies on the lame excuse that it is a measure to save petrol is more than anyone can bear. The restrictions are to be lifted, off cars, so therefore the company proposal is baseless. We are not all as blind as. the Government would like to believe we are. This is a direct attempt for Government control. Our men are being trained to fight dictatorship; meanwhile we allow it to grow in New Zealand and murder private enterprise. The work of our days of sweat and patience in creating our own businesses has been dashed to ruins and what good is our education if we are not allowed to run our own business? Farmers! Get both arms around your farm. It may be next. Fed Up.
