promotions announced NEW WING-COMMANDERS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRKSS ASSOCIATION*] -WELLINGTON, Thursday Several promotions of officers of the Hoy;il New Zealand Air Force are gazetted. Squadron-Leafier M. W. Buckley and Squadron-Leader. S. AVallingford are to be wing-commanders. Squadron-Leader H. B. Burrell and Squadron-Leador K G. Olson are to be wing-commanders, temporary. Group-Captain H. W. L. Saunders relinquishes his appointment as a member. of the Air Board during nis absence from New Zealand, and Group-Captain L. M. Isitt is to act as Chief of Air Staff (luring Group-Captain Saunders absence. . Squadron-Leader E. G. Olson is to be a member of the Air Board, and will act as Air Force member for the personnel during -Group-Captain Isitls period of appointment. Mr. P. C. Ween ink is to act as Air Secretary and be a member of tho Air Board during the absence from New Zealand of Mr. T. A. Barrow.
