Winds.—Moderate to strong southerly or south-westerly, becoming general. Seas..—New Zealand waters: Moderate south of Farewell Spit and north of East Cape, rather rough to rough elsewhere. Eastern Tasman Sea: Fresh to strong south-west winds' and rough seas, hut wind and sea gradually decreasing. Weather. —Rain is probable in the North Island and iu eastern and southern districts of the South Island, but conditions improving gradually from the south and west.
